This week your home Learning will be focussed on your Night of the Notable Task - Part A. You must also continue with your reading and can complete Studyladder tasks if you have time.
Week 6
Home Learning Format: Please see below the two homework grids for week 6. 1. Weekly Home Learning grid which includes a general outline of homework tasks for the week as well as administration and reminders. These homework tasks link to most subject areas. 2. Separate maths activity grid including 6 short activities to be completed at home.
Please make sure to read both the Home Learning Grid and the Maths Grid and complete all tasks to the best of your ability.
Week 5 Reading: Every day for at least 20 minutes. Fill in the pages read in your diary M-Th. Get mum or dad to sign at the end of the week.
Religion: Practise our prayer assembly - it's on Google Classroom.
Home Learning Book Cover: Design your own cover - but include a positive affirmation that means something to you!.
PDH: Watch the growth mind set video with a parent (or parents). Have a discussion about times when your parent(s) has had a fixed or growth mind set. When have they used "yet" to help them solve a problem? Can you think of times when you have tried 3, 4, 5 times or more to solve a problem or learn something new?
Week 4 Reading: Every day for at least 20 minutes. Fill in the pages read in your diary M-Th.
Religion: Bring in photos of your sacraments...you could also make a google slide of the images if you don't want to bring in the actual photos. Yes, bring in your Baptism book from Year 1 if you still have it!!
PDH: "ME" boxes - create a box (about a shoe box size) that gives "clues" about you. eg: a pair of goggles (I am a great swimmer.) A book (I love reading). A rubic's cube (my hobby).......
